About The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Manager of Client Onboarding to help bridge the gap between sales and long-term account success for our digital marketing clients. This role will play a critical part in the first 3 months of client onboarding, supporting cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment, strong client communication, and smooth internal processes.

This is a mid-level, hybrid position best suited for someone with 5+ years of hands-on experience managing paid media advertising campaigns who thrives at the intersection of client service, digital strategy, and operations.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:

  • Client Onboarding Support (During New Account's First 3–6 Months)
    • Own the facilitation of account access and create the onboarding timeline for each new client
    • Coordinate kick-off calls and internal touchpoints across account, strategy, and analytics teams
    • Set and manage expectations for deliverables and timelines
      Collaborate with teams on onboarding decks, data needs, and early strategy
  • Client Services & Internal Communication
    • Serve as the voice of the client during onboarding to ensure expectations are clearly communicated and met
    • Flag misalignment early and work cross-functionally to resolve issues
    • Deliver internal onboarding scorecards for leadership — tracking account health, onboarding progress, and client sentiment
  • Analytics & Performance Tracking
    • Support conversion tracking audits and ensure foundational tracking is in place (via pixels, tags, UTM strategy, etc.)
    • Coordinate with analytics team and/or ad platforms to submit tickets, QA data, and track resolutions
    • Outline key KPIs and reporting structures that align with client goals
      Help define “success” for each client early in the relationship
    • Ensure the account team is aligned on benchmarks, KPIs, and how performance will be measured
    • Support reporting team in structuring early Power BI or automated dashboards (no technical BI skills required)
 

Minimum Qualifications & Skill Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in paid media marketing, with direct management of ad campaign setup, performance analysis, and the operational workflows. 
  • 3+ years of experience in a client-facing role.
    Strong grasp of performance marketing KPIs (ROAS, CPA, CAC, etc.)
  • Proficiency in working cross-functionally with account managers, data analysts, and platform specialists.
  • Deep understanding of Google Ads, Meta, Bing, and LinkedIn Ads; programmatic experience is a plus (DV360, StackAdapt, etc.)
  • Familiarity with common client CRMs (HubSpot, Salesforce) and offline conversion tracking flows
  • Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills
  • Proactive, resourceful, and solutions-oriented — you anticipate roadblocks and find a way forward
  • Experience with conversion tracking and CRM integrations also a plus.

Office Hours

This role is based out of our Austin office. Our Austin team works on a hybrid basis, with three days per week working in the office and two days per week working from home. Work hours are consistently 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday - Friday, with the expectation that evening and weekend work will be required as necessary.
